Numbers relate to the person's age?

I read this as being about psychological state in different age ranges

Rheumatoid arthritis, and how their hands are deteriorating

I like this interpretation most. Watching your hands change from arthritis. On the other hand, it wound be hard to bend forks with hands of the "today" stage

If the numbers represent days, I would say this may be related to a medication/effects. If the numbers are years, perhaps either a physical or psychological state in decline.

Birth to 6 Age 7 to 15 Today. Mental health

I see this as an eating disorder that has escalated through the years. It has now reached the inability to feed oneself.

I just posted a lengthy comment, but wanted to add that it could also be someone's experience with debt, especially student loans or medical debt.

These are a postcard of the sculpture 'Munari's Forks' created in 1958 by the Italian artist Bruno Munari. He made them to represent hand gestures, so the previous posters suggestion about Rheumatoid arthritis, and how their hands are deteriorating looks a good option. Its too specific a image IMO to not referrer to hands. Would perhaps also indicate someone who knows their art too Munari is not an everyday artist.

0-6 years of age the person was okay/normal. The damage began at age 7, and whatever was going on lasted until age 15. Today, they’re very messed up because of what went on those eight years.

Maybe it's not about being damaged but retreating in from 7-15 and today they are opening up and branching out. Becoming their unique self and not hiding it.
