I still do once in a while as an adult. It happens. Sleep on a towel, change the sheets in the morning, and continue with your life.

So did I. I was so ashamed. And I was usually severely punished for it too. It's happened twice in my adult years too.

I used to as well starting in my college years. i stopped when i was about 25/26. i learned it was just my body warning me about this horrible relationship i was in and telling me to get out of there. I'm 34 this year and in what I would say is the best relationship of my life and my body hasn't done it a single time.

I wet the bed until my late teens as well. I went to overnight camp at 14 and got found out by the counselors. The director took me aside privately and told me that he still peed the bed and that it was nothing to be ashamed of it, it was just a medical problem and he and his wife dealt with it when it happened. That a grown man with a family, a job, and a happy life had this happening to him made me so much less ashamed and within a year I had stopped peeing the bed. This used to happen nightly and I had tried EVERYTHING to stop it, including going to therapy, seeing medical doctors ect. Having someone share this secret, I hope helps another person down the line too.
